Restaurant Go Guide

Healthy Dining Chicago loves to recommend eco-friendly eateries that:

  • serve wholesome whole grains
  • use healthy fats and oils in their dishes
  • offer real maple syrup
  • include locally-sourced, seasonal, sustainable and organic menu options
  • serve fair-trade items including coffees and teas
  • offer healthy vegetarian/vegan-friendly menu options
  • use eco-friendly takeout containers – no Styrofoam
  • recycle kitchen glass, plastic and aluminum
  • use eco-friendly cleaning agents
  • do not serve foie gras
  • do not serve water bottled in plastic
